We present a beautiful Beijing-made Chinese rug, Aubusson-inspired, produced between the 1970s and 1980s. Its elegant composition combines a powder-green background with a wide cream-toned border, decorated with roses, leaves and ornamental motifs. In the center stands a refined floral medallion that adds balance and character to the whole. It is woven in wool over cotton using the manual tufting technique. The pile is secured to the back with a special compound and protected by a textile lining, which keeps its function and stability intact.
