We present a beautiful Beijing rug, Aubusson-inspired, made between the 1970s and 1980s. Its elegant composition combines a powdery green background with a wide cream-toned border, adorned with roses, leaves and ornamental motifs. In the center, a refined floral medallion stands out, bringing balance and character to the piece. It is woven in wool on cotton using the manual tufting technique. The pile is fixed to the reverse with a special compound and protected by a textile lining, which preserves its function and stability perfectly.
