CHINA. Silver Dollar Pattern, Year 12 (1923). Tientsin Mint. PCGS

Provocative Republican Dollar Pattern with Exceptional Color CHINA. Silver Dollar Pattern, Year 12 (1923). Tientsin Mint. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, Unc Details. L&M-81; K-680; KM-Y-336; WS-0114; Chang-CH241; Wenchao-885 (rarity: ★★). Small characters variety. Differing from the large characters version in that the two characters conveying the denomination on the reverse are in a smaller--and somewhat differently styled--script, this crown abounds with tremendous iridescent color. While it has been cleaned in the past as noted, it nevertheless provides a tremendous ocular experience on account of its exceptionally chromatic nature. Augmenting this aspect that much more is the presence of dazzling luster and no evidence of any actual wear. A RARITY that should in no way go unnoticed thanks to its stupendous eye appeal. Estimate: $30,000 - $45,000. Provenance: From the MC Collection (陳氏家族集藏). To view all items from the MC Collection (陳氏家族集藏), click here. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
