CHINA. Warring States Period. State of Chu. "Chen Yuan" Gold Cube Money, ND (ca. 475-221 B.C.). EXTREMELY FINE. Hartill-5.5. Weight: 21.81 gms. Obverse: "Chen Yuan" stamped on an irregular cut fragment of a larger ingot; Reverse: Plain. An interesting series wherein the example was cut from a large bar, allowing for smaller denominations to be made. Wholly pleasing, presenting bright surfaces and a lack of deposits within the designs, with the original stamp boldly struck and almost entirely intact. Estimate: $4,000 - $5,000. 公元前475-221年戰國時期/楚國爰金或郢爰。 重21.81克。正面：不規則切割金錠殘片上打有"郢爰"戳記；背面：空白無文。饒有趣味的一系列，從大銀錠上切割而成，以便製成較小面額。整體悦目，幣面亮麗，圖文間無積垢，原戳深打，幾乎完整無缺。
