Wondrous Large Gold Denomination Featuring General T'ang CHINA. Yunnan. 10 Dollars, 1919. Kunming Mint. PCGS AU-58. L&M-1057; Fr-10; K-1527; KM-Y-482; WS-0652. Variety with "1" below reverse tassels. This elevated survivor resides about as close to Mint State status as one can get, with the faintest degree of light wear across only the highest points. The luster remains rather intense and elegant, with the overall hue of the gold presenting an intense yellow nature. No doubt a terrific rendition of the type, and a fantastically wholesome and spectacular rendition at that. Estimate: $15,000 - $20,000. Provenance: From the MC Collection (陳氏家族集藏).
