PREPARATION, SHIPPING AND DELIVERY Each item is checked, cleaned or sanitized using methods compatible with the materials and its preservation, then carefully packed. ASSISTANCE AND REPORTS For any clarification or issue, contact us via the order message on Catawiki, indicating the lot number and describing what you found. In case of damage, item not as described or missing content, report the problem promptly to Catawiki support as well, preferably immediately and in any case within the 3 days provided by the platform’s procedure, to allow complaint handling and possible suspension of payment. This operative term does not entail loss of the right of withdrawal or the legal warranty under applicable terms. CONSUMER WITHDRAWAL When the buyer acts as a consumer and the legal requirements are met, they may exercise the right of withdrawal without reason within 14 days of receiving the item, pursuant to Articles 52 et seq. of Legislative Decree 206/2005, subject to legal exceptions. The decision must be communicated by explicit declaration to the seller, also using the Catawiki procedure. The item must be re-shipped within 14 days from the withdrawal notification. For mere reconsideration, the direct cost of return is borne by the buyer, unless otherwise agreed. Amounts due by law, including standard initial delivery costs, will be refunded; higher costs for a more expensive delivery chosen by the buyer are not due. Refunds are issued without undue delay and within legal terms, with the possibility of withholding until receipt of the item or proof of return, according to applicable regulations. Amounts collected directly by Catawiki are managed through the platform according to the respective competencies, subject to non-derogable rights. The buyer is responsible for any decrease in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to verify the item’s nature, characteristics and functioning, within legal limits. LEGAL WARRANTY AND DEFECTS OF CONFORMITY In consumer sales, the legal conformity warranty provided by Articles 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code applies, even for used goods, taking into account prior use and the contractually declared characteristics. The ordinary duration of liability is two years from delivery. For used goods, any reduction, not less than one year, applies only if validly agreed and allowed by applicable law. In case of a conformity defect, the consumer is entitled to remedies provided by law: repair or replacement, where practicable, or a price reduction or contract termination when warranted. Our commercial preference is to resolve valid disputes by returning the item and issuing a full refund when appropriate, rather than negotiating informal discounts. This preference does not exclude mandatory remedies, including price reduction. When return is due to a defect attributable to the seller, the necessary costs are on us under the law. Other cancellation scenarios’ costs are determined by the cause of cancellation and applicable provisions. RETURNS, REPAIRS AND INTEGRITY OF THE ITEM Before performing repairs, restorations, adjustments or interventions by third parties, contact us to verify the issue and agree on a solution. Unauthorised interventions may alter the original state, compromise verifications and affect liability for damages or defects caused. There is no automatic refund for interventions commissioned by third parties. The consumer’s non-derogable rights remain intact: unauthorised intervention does not by itself cause loss of protection for defects independent of the intervention. The returned item must include accessories and documents received and be protected with proper packaging. Please attach the order reference and, if available, a copy of the sales document. The original receipt is not the only admissible means to prove purchase. EXTRA-EU SHIPMENTS AND CUSTOMS DUTIES For destinations outside the European Union, including the United Kingdom, Switzerland, China, Taiwan, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates, duties, taxes and customs clearance fees may apply depending on the destination and order conditions. Amounts already collected by the platform should not be automatically considered due again. When required, tax or identifying data may be requested for customs clearance. A passport number will be requested only if strictly necessary according to applicable rules or the carrier’s documented instructions.
