History The Citizen caliber 8200 movement was introduced in the mid-1970s and served as the brand's standard automatic workhorse for over three decades. Equipped with Citizen's Parashock anti-shock system, the 21-jewel caliber 8200A provided reliable timekeeping and practical day-date functionality. The distinctive 7 motif, often recognized by collectors as the Eagle 7 line, was introduced to Citizen's automatic range in the early 1980s, creating a recognizable aesthetic that remains appreciated by vintage enthusiasts today.
