Classic Déco Bracelet with 8.75 ct Diamonds in Platinum, c. 1930

Platinum bracelets set with sparkling white diamonds were the great passion of the ladies of the 1920s and 1930s. Every self-respecting lady who could afford it wore such treasures - often not just individually, but several of them combined to create a radiant arrangement of pure luxury on her wrist. This is how we know the Hollywood stars of those years in old black-and-white photographs, which still shape our idea of the self-determined woman of those years today. This bracelet is made entirely of platinum and its geometric design features 243 sparkling diamonds in three different historical cuts. It is made up of three movable elements that are repeated in the same shape and thus form a continuous pattern. The centerpiece of this arrangement is an old-cut diamond flanked by two baguette diamonds. 234 single-cut diamonds set every possible spot on the front. The sparkling stones have a total weight of 8.75 carats. The bracelet flows softly around the wrist and its clever design allows it to rotate on the arm as desired and looks wonderful from every angle, as its clasp is invisible when worn and blends seamlessly into the overall ensemble. Delicate shadow gaps, tiny milgrains that effectively divide the fine ridges of the platinum into thousands of small reflective surfaces and the precision with which the bracelet is designed demonstrate the mastery of the goldsmith. This elegant piece of jewellery came to us in Cologne and is in perfect condition. An independent appraisal from Vienna is included with the bracelet.
