Coat rack - Solid brass, relief enamel, solid wood - Two wall-mounted

Pair of Mid-Century wall-mounted coat hooks in brass and red enamel "Rossa Oro" – Italy, 1950s/60s Splendid and elegant pair of wall hooks of Italian manufacture, dating from the Mid-Century period (1950s/60s). Each piece features two sculptural hooks crafted in solid brass, enhanced at the top by a refined fan-shaped insert in vibrant red enamel (Rossa Oro style). The ornament, clearly Liberty-inspired, is characterized by sinuous tendrils and small six-petaled geometric floral motifs that stand out beautifully against a enameled background with a finely punched texture, designed to catch and reflect light. The hooks are firmly mounted on rectangular solid-wood bases, which display warm, natural grains. On the back, both panels are already equipped with the original sturdy metal brackets, suitable for a robust wall installation and fully recessed. The slight difference in the sizes of the two wood panels suggests artisanal workmanship or a combined use for entrances or bedrooms of the era. A display set with great charm and character, perfect for enriching modern, eclectic interiors or lovers of Italian vintage design. Excellent vintage condition, structurally sound and complete; there is a chip in one corner of one panel when hung, but it is not highly visible. They boast a beautiful, light patina of time on the brass parts and light signs of use on the wood that attest to their authenticity. Enamels in perfect condition, free of chips. • Coat hook 1: 54.5 x 13 cm (Wood thickness: 2.5 cm) • Coat hook 2: 50 x 11.3 cm (Wood thickness: 2.3 cm)
