Collection of (53) 1957 Milwaukee Braves related snapshot photographs with many autographed. Interesting collection of color photographs (3"x5.25") showing members of the Braves, personnel related to the organization, and others of team or event relation. There is a nice group of World Series related images as noted below. Signed photos of rostered players/coaches include Red Schoendienst, Phil Paine, Carl Sawatski, Connie Ryan, Ray Shearer, Harry Hanebrink, Bob Hazle, Bob Malkmus, Don McMahon, Juan Pizarro, Hawk Taylor, Mel Roach, Nippy Jones, Dick Cole, John Logan (shown with Eddie Mathews), and there is dual-signed photo of Fred Haney and his father Bill. There are a number of additional signed photos (15) of people with ancillary relation to the team including some who worked at the stadium and others who covered them in the press. Most interesting among these are signed images of Marvin Moran (who long sang the National Anthem in Milwaukee) and Judge Robert Cannon (who's biography can be found on the SABR website). Unsigned snapshots include a photo of Hank Aaron and Wes Covington, one which includes Ty Cobb (May 29 date written on - he was in town and visited with the team), and another which includes Warren Spahn. Rounding out the lot are (12) photos dated to the World Series with most unsigned however there are autographed pictures of William Harridge (signed on the back), Davy Jones (signed on back and there is a cut signature taped to lower edge), and Tommy Richardson of the Eastern League. Signatures range from 6 to 9 out of 10. Each piece has a "Kodacolor" mark on the back which includes 1957 date and most have handwritten notes/identifiers. Light scattered wear.
