Commode - Art Deco dresser in walnut and brass - Burr walnut, Brass

Elegant Italian chest of drawers dating from the 1950s, characterized by a strong decorative presence and a refined Arts Deco taste. The piece is enriched by a spectacular walnut burl veneer, recognizable by its distinctive figuring and the natural patterns on the fronts of the drawers. The burl creates a visual effect that is very rich and lively, enhanced by the warm brown-gold tone of the wood and the highly figured grains. The structure features six drawers, organized into two columns, with fronts decorated by elegant inlays and brass ornamental motifs, which follow a sinuous line the burl pattern. Particularly striking are the handles in golden metal, with a floral and deliberately decorative shape, perfectly coherent with the furniture’s aesthetic. The silhouette is characterized by slightly shaped sides, prominent vertical supports, and tapered front legs, elements that impart lightness to the structure despite its substantial dimensions. A piece with remarkable aesthetic impact, where the richness of the walnut burl dialog with the brass elements to create an elegant and refined overall effect. An ideal chest of drawers for a classic, Art Deco or eclectic environment, but capable of becoming the centerpiece even in a contemporary setting. The piece has been oiled and shellacked, shows normal signs due to age and use. Measurements: L 143 cm D 52.5 cm H 80 cm Follow me on Instagram: salottoviennese Shipping via PROFESSIONAL courier.
