Contax 645 AF -> Professional Outfit - Carl Zeiss Planar...

The Contax 645 AF is one of the most famous and sought-after analog medium-format cameras in the history of photography. Introduced by Kyocera in 1999 and produced until 2005, it redefined the standards of professional photography (particularly in fashion, portrait, and wedding photography) by combining the advantages of 6x4.5 cm medium format with the ergonomics and autofocus typical of a 35mm SLR. Sold with original packaging and warranty. The lens shows slight hazing on the front edge but it does not affect performance and is easily cleaned. Sold with its original packaging. Launched in 1999 by Kyocera under the prestigious Contax brand, the Contax 645 SLR system established a benchmark for modular medium-format autofocus camera design. Engineered to bridge classic 6x4.5cm optical depth with the speed and ergonomics of a modern 35mm SLR, it incorporated precision electronically controlled focal-plane shutters with speeds up to 1/4000 second and high-speed autofocus capabilities. Coupled with legendary Carl Zeiss optics featuring T* multi-coating, the Contax 645 became an essential tool for professional portrait, fashion, and fine-art photographers worldwide.
