Alle Auktionen / Skulpturen / Contemporary Pillar - XXL Cortenstalen Sokkel - 2026 - sculpture column
A powerful and timeless pedestal made of corten steel, designed to present art, sculptures, and decorative objects in an impressive way. The sleek, minimalist shape combined with the characteristic rust-brown appearance of corten steel gives the pedestal a rugged and architectural character. A beautiful base for, for example, bronze statues, stone sculptures, modern art objects, or other outdoor decoration. The pedestal looks especially at home in a garden, on a terrace, at an entrance, or in another outdoor setting. Thanks to its calm geometric design, the placed object gains extra height and presence, without the pedestal itself overpowering it. Important – natural patina and color variations Corten steel develops its characteristic rust layer through a natural oxidation process. This makes every pedestal unique. Color, rust pattern, stains, streaks, texture, and the degree of oxidation can differ noticeably from the sample shown in the photos. The patina also develops further over time and under the influence of weather conditions. The photos are therefore representative of the model and finish, but not of the exact color, texture, or exact rust pattern of the item you will receive. These natural variations are characteristic of corten steel and make each piece unique. Outdoor use only This pedestal is offered for outdoor use only. During the natural oxidation process corten steel can release rust particles and rust-containing water. This can cause stains or discoloration on the ground and on materials that come into contact with it. We therefore advise placing the pedestal on a suitable outdoor surface and to take into account possible rust transfer with, among other things, delicate paving, natural stone, wood, and other sensitive surfaces. Any sculptures, plants and other decor pictured in the photos are for illustration of potential applications and are not included with the lot. The pedestal will be carefully and professionally packed for shipment. Pickup is also possible.
