Identified as an important figure in the renewal of abstraction in Northern Europe, Corneille gradually shifts from 1967 toward a rich and colorful New Figuration that aligns with the Pop Art taste of the 1960s and 1970s, and exhibits alongside Andy Warhol, Arman, César, etc.
