Credenza - Walnut - Gründerzeit vertiko

Antique Vertiko cabinet from the German Gründerzeit, produced between 1880 and 1895. The furniture is characterized in particular by its expressive walnut veneer. The two doors as well as the front of the large drawer show a lively, decoratively arranged figuring. The front is designed with profiled frames, rounded arch motifs and carved side decorative elements. The curved upper edge and the vertical profiles are typical for furniture of the Historicism of that era. Behind the two lockable doors are several adjustable shelves. Above there is also a lockable, generously sized drawer. Keys are present. The old back panel, made of individual wooden boards, is preserved. The Vertiko is in authentic, age-appropriate condition. It shows signs of wear, minor veneer and wood damage as well as previous repairs. A decorative element in the lower side area has been added or repaired; the condition is documented in the detail photos. The furniture has not been modernly restored. Dimensions: W 105 x H 136 x D 46 cm A decorative yet functional piece of furniture from the late 19th century with particularly beautiful veneer patterning. Pickup in the Krefeld area. Please bring enough blankets for the protection of the furniture during transport. The vehicle should be at least a station wagon with a fold-down rear seat. I am happy to assist with loading into your vehicle.
