Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / Cross Magri - Bidwill
CROSS MAGRI is a Spanish artist whose work commands attention from the first glance — a signature language of vivid colour, eclectic composition and confident, deliberate mark-making. Each piece reflects an artist in constant, upward evolution: not merely a decorative object, but a collectible with recognised market value. CROSS MAGRI's works are represented in specialised galleries worldwide, with retail prices ranging between 1,000€ and 3,000€. With over a decade of continuous practice, his work has found its way into private collections and galleries across Asia, Europe and the Americas. This is a rare opportunity to acquire an original directly from the artist's studio, offered here with or without a reserve price. Over the years his practice has expanded well beyond those origins, moving fluidly across Pop Art, Street Art and Abstraction — while drawing, with striking confidence, on classical, neoclassical, impressionist, realist and figurative traditions. It is this synthesis of disciplines, rather than any single style, that gives each work its unmistakable character. Portraiture remains one of the defining threads of his practice. Beyond technical precision, Cross Magrí brings each portrait a depth and expressiveness that sets his work apart within the contemporary scene — work that pairs the discipline of tradition with a distinctly forward-looking sensibility. Cross Magrí doesn't simply work across genres — he reinvents them, fusing influences into pieces built to be noticed. His continued evolution stands as evidence of a talent still very much in motion.
