Cycling - 1970 - Cycling jersey

An extensive collection of original vintage cycling clothing and cycling accessories, mainly European and dating from the 1970s–1990s. The collection has been preserved for a long period and is now offered as a whole. These are used vintage pieces with original labels, logos, prints and signs of age. The exact personal provenance or any original wearer(s) is not documented; the lot is therefore explicitly offered as a historical cycling collection without attribution to a specific rider. One of the most notable items is a Cornelo/Campagnolo – Jet Star Jeans cycling top in red, dark blue and white. Jet Star Jeans was active in 1978 as a Dutch professional cycling team. The garment carries on the chest the Cornelo/Campagnolo logo and the name Jet Star Jeans and has an original Cornelo label. In addition, the collection includes a striking R.A.B.C. – STX cycling shirt with a large STX logo. The shirt bears original Belgian labels from Deca – Made in Belgium and Breigoedfabriek N.V. De Clercq Gebr., Oude Heirbaan, Zottegem. Also present is a colorful Nalini / Maxi Sport cycling shirt in yellow, black, white, red and blue. The original label states Made in Italy and synthetic material. Nalini is a well-known Italian producer of cycling clothing. Also included are a couple of vintage Rogelli fingerless cycling gloves with leather palm, a vintage ALAN – Made in Italy leather/chamois cycling saddle, black vintage cycling clothing and accessories, a white vintage sport/cycle jacket with blue-orange details, classic suspenders and various other vintage cycling accessories as pictured. The collection is in used vintage condition. Depending on the item, clear signs of age and wear are present, including discoloration, wear, creasing, stains and signs of use on leather and fabric, among others. These have deliberately not been restored. Please view all photos carefully; they form an important part of the description and show the condition, labels, prints and available components. The items have not been professionally cleaned or restored and are offered in the condition in which they were found and kept. An interesting assembled lot for collectors of historic cycling sport, vintage cycling clothing, Belgian and Dutch cycling history, Campagnolo/Cornelo, Jet Star Jeans, Deca, Nalini, Rogelli and classic cycling accessories. The complete depicted lot is sold as a single lot.
