Cyril Keller - Ein Neuer Weg

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland. My enthusiasm for art began in the early 1990s with graffiti. Even back then, colors, shapes and the possibility to give my ideas a personal expression fascinated me. This passion still forms the basis of my work today. I was especially shaped by my teacher and mentor, the artist Parscha Mirghawameddin. With him I learned to paint. His sense for colors, his eye for composition and his artistic experience were of great importance for my development. As his student I was able to benefit from knowledge and passion that accompany me to this day. I am very grateful to Parscha for sharing his experiences with me and for supporting me on my artistic path. Learning from him was a special opportunity for me. On this basis I developed my own visual language and found my personal approach to painting. Since 2015 I have devoted myself with great enthusiasm to abstract art. I am especially fascinated by the squeegee technique: the interplay of color layers, the structures that arise, and the surprising forms that give each painting its own character. In this process learned craft merges with intuition and the joy of experimentation. My paintings are meant to enliven spaces, evoke emotions and give viewers lasting pleasure. Each work leaves room for one’s own thoughts and discoveries. Precisely this openness makes abstract painting so special to me: a picture can mean something different for everyone and reveal new sides again and again over time. With every canvas I continue to develop my work — carried by my artistic roots, the valuable impulses of my teacher, and the wish to create something of my own. The canvas is unstretched and is carefully rolled in a shipping tube for dispatch. An authenticity certificate is included in the delivery.
