Cyril Keller - Geborgen In Blau

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland. My passion for art began in the early 1990s with graffiti. Even then, colors, shapes, and the possibility of giving my ideas a personal expression fascinated me. This passion continues to form the foundation of my work to this day. What profoundly shaped me was my teacher and mentor, the artist Parscha Mirghawameddin. It was with him that I learned to paint. His sense of color, his eye for composition, and his artistic experience were of great importance to my development. As his student, I benefited from a knowledge and a passion that still accompany me today. I am very grateful to Parscha for sharing his experiences with me and for supporting me on my artistic path. Learning from him was a special opportunity for me. On this basis I developed my own visual language and found my personal approach to painting. Since 2015 I have devoted myself with great enthusiasm to abstract art. I am particularly fascinated by the squeegee technique: the interplay of color layers, the structures that emerge, and the surprising forms that give each painting its own character. In this process, learned craft blends with intuition and the joy of experimentation. My paintings are meant to enliven spaces, evoke emotions, and bring lasting delight to their viewers. Each piece leaves room for one’s own thoughts and discoveries. It is precisely this openness that makes abstract painting so special to me: a painting can mean something different for every person and can reveal new facets over time. With every canvas I further develop my work—carried by my artistic roots, the valuable impulses of my teacher, and the desire to create something of my own. The canvas is unstretched and is carefully rolled in a shipping tube for dispatch. An authenticity certificate is included in the delivery.
