Cyril Keller - Melodie Der Großstadt

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland. My passion for art began in the early 1990s with graffiti. Even then I was fascinated by colors, shapes and the possibility of giving my ideas their own expression. This passion continues to form the foundation of my work today. I was especially shaped by my teacher and mentor, the artist Parscha Mirghawameddin. With him I learned painting. His sense for color, his eye for composition, and his artistic experience were of great importance for my development. As his pupil I benefited from knowledge and a passion that accompany me to this day. I am very grateful to Parscha for sharing his experiences with me and for supporting me on my artistic path. Learning from him was a special opportunity for me. On this basis I developed my own visual language and found my personal approach to painting. Since 2015 I have been passionately dedicating myself to abstract art. I am particularly fascinated by the squeegee technique: the interplay of color layers, the resulting textures, and the surprising forms that give each painting its own character. In doing so, the learned craft combines with intuition and the joy of experimentation. My paintings are meant to enliven spaces, evoke emotions, and give their viewers lasting joy. Each work leaves room for one's own thoughts and discoveries. It is precisely this openness that makes abstract painting so special for me: a painting can mean something different for every person and, over time, reveal new facets again and again. With every canvas I continue to develop my work — carried by my artistic roots, the valuable impulses of my teacher, and the wish to create something of my own. The canvas is unstretched and is carefully rolled in a shipping tube. An authenticity certificate is included in the delivery.
