Dal modello di Eduardo Rossi (1867-1926) - Sculpture

Sculpture after a model by Eduardo Rossi (Naples, 1867–1926), named 'La Forosetta' (in the international antique market also known as 'Donna' or 'Jeunesse'), a famous bronze bust cast by the renowned Italian realist sculptor. Eduardo (or Edoardo) Rossi trained at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli under the master Achille D'Orsi. He developed a style strongly characterized by Neapolitan social realism and verismo, enriched with delicate Liberty nuances. Its height is about 30 cm, weight over 3 kg. In good condition, with normal signs of age and wear. See photos for condition and measurements. I do not ship outside the European Community. The lot will be carefully packed and shipped in a reinforced polystyrene box.
