Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / Dan Burrough (1967) - Mickey Bastard (Diptyque)
"Mickey Bastard" is a sharp critique of American consumerism in its excess. The character representing Mickey in all his horror embodies American no-limit, the shameless enrichment of companies, of industry and inevitably of its population. Dan Burrough is an artist from Liverpool living today in Ireland. Close to the movement of the Young British Artists in the 1990s represented by the Saatchi Collection, he denounces in his work what he regularly calls American deviance. Mickey Bastard Canvas on stretcher Oil, graphite on canvas 76X122 cm 2014 Pop Dream Gallery is an active structure that operates as both dealer, exhibition curator, and gallerist. We essentially focus on the secondary market to present our artists, but we also work with private collectors to evolve their collection. We sell some of their works to buy new pieces more in line with the evolution of time. You can follow us on Instagram, popdreamgallery. Each of our works is signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Pop Dream Gallery. Our delivery fees are calculated in accordance with those of an art gallery.
