Alle Auktionen / Sonstige / Dante Bellacorte (1987) - Contessa di velluto
Oil painting on canvas from a collection. Hand-signed by the contemporary artist Dante Bellacorte and stamped by the Gallery. Title: Countess of Velvet Dimensions: 40x30 cm Year: 2025 Dante Bellacorte was born in Palermo in 1987. His painting focuses on figurative portraiture, reinterpreted through a contemporary sensibility and a strong nod to classical tradition. In his paintings, female faces emerge from dark, silent backgrounds, illuminated by a warm, theatrical light. The painting material, the textures of the skin, and the intensity of the gazes build images suspended between melancholy, grace, and introspection. Through a refined, tactile oil technique, Bellacorte brings to life timeless figures, fragile and solemn, capable of transforming the portrait into an intimate and poetic narrative. NB: The artwork will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for shipments. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
