This magnificent animal sculpture is a creation in the “neo-Art Nouveau” style, made in glass paste by the prestigious French manufacture Daum. It depicts a peacock perched on a stylized stand, probably a stump or trunk of a tree. It belongs to the contemporary decorative naturalist productions of the crystal maker Daum, renowned for its pâte de cristal creations.
