The Wales-born photographer David Hurn initially gained recognition as a photojournalist during the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. In the 1960s Hurn was regularly sought by filmmakers and producers for promotional material: he worked on films such as James Bond: From Russia with Love, Barbarella and A Hard Day’s Night.
