Alle Auktionen / Sonstige / Decorative bell - Caryatids of the 19th century
Antique brass wall bell – Art Nouveau / Belle Époque Caryatid decorative floral motif Very beautiful decorative brass wall bell, adorned with a stunning female motif echoing a caryatid, surrounded by swirls, foliage and plant elements in an Art Nouveau / Belle Époque spirit. The feminine face at the center, with its styled hair and delicate details, adds a lot of character to the piece. The decoration continues around the bell with pretty arabesques and plant motifs typical of the decorative arts of the late 19th / early 20th century. The bell is suspended from the central part and retains its chain and hook mechanism. It produces a very charming and pleasant sound, with a lovely resonance when struck. A particularly decorative piece, which can be installed in an entryway, a kitchen, a shop, a curiosities cabinet, or simply integrated into a collection of antique brass objects. Material: brass Style: Art Nouveau / Belle Époque Decor: female figure, caryatid, swirls and plant motifs Dimensions: Length: 16 cm Width: 12 cm Depth: 5 cm Beautiful antique object with a remarkable decorative presence and a charming resonance.
