Bylinny Farfor / BRADEX - Complete 12-plate set “The Magic of the Twelve Months” - Natalia A. Zaitseva - 1996 Description Complete set of 12 Russian porcelain collector plates from the series “The Magic of the Twelve Months” (Волшебство двенадцати месяцев), created after original artwork by Russian artist Natalia A. Zaitseva (Наталья А. Зайцева). The set was issued in 1996 and registered with BRADEX, with consecutive catalogue references 60-B24-13.1 through 60-B24-13.12. Each plate represents one month of the year and features a richly detailed Russian folkloric scene in the tradition of lacquer-miniature painting, surrounded by a black border with elaborate gold-coloured and white ornamentation. The reverse of every plate carries extensive Cyrillic factory and series information, the artist attribution, BRADEX reference, c1996 date and an individual edition number applied in gold. The stated edition was limited to 29,500 examples of each design. The individual gold numbers differ from plate to plate; this is therefore a complete twelve-design series rather than a matching-number set. Condition Very good vintage condition overall. The fronts retain strong colours and detailed decoration. There are light signs of age and handling, including minor surface marks and some signs of use/soiling on the reverses and around the foot rims. No obvious major cracks or repairs are visible in the supplied photographs. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the condition description. The lot consists of the complete set of 12 plates shown in the photographs.
