Decorative ornament - Artisanal - 60 cm - Puerto Rico - Sailboat

This attractive handcrafted wooden model of a sailing ship, made of wood and metal during the second half of the twentieth century, offers a evocative interpretation of the great sailing vessels that plied the oceans between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Conceived as a decorative piece, it blends the charm of manual craftsmanship with an aesthetic inspired by historic exploration and trade ships. The work features a stylized hull with a pronounced bow and raised stern, executed with an expressive texture that emphasizes its artisanal character. Above it rises a complex rigging comprised of several masts, spars, and shrouds fashioned from delicate metal elements, recreating in notable detail the structure of the great period ships.
