Delicate Ring with Sapphire & Vintage Diamonds in Platinum, from Our Workshop

Trilogy rings are among the most romantic pieces in the history of jewelry. The fact that exactly three gemstones are used here is symbolic: they can represent a shared past, present, and future. Often, the center stone is larger, thus placing the focus on the present moment of love. This ring is designed in exactly the same way. An oval-cut, medium-blue sapphire is framed on either side by a brilliant-cut diamond. Delicate prong settings hold the gemstones, ensuring their colour remains unmarred. The ring is crafted from platinum and captivates with its elegant simplicity, which allows the gemstones to take center stage. We have sustainably crafted this ring from vintage materials. Its platinum comes from older pieces of jewellery that were no longer wearable and which we therefore had to melt down. The diamonds used here are also reclaimed. These are vintage diamonds with only very small inclusions and a White/H (H/VS) color grade. All stones are set à-jour in platinum, which beautifully enhances the brilliance of the diamonds and the stunning blue sapphire. Trilogy rings were particularly popular in the early years of the 20th century. The ring from our workshop follows this tradition. It is unworn, and our goldsmith will gladly resize it for you to your desired ring size.
