Hauberg - (cf. 32, 33) ; not in Hauberg Collection; Bruun-1327 (illustrated plate 3); Weight: 1.04 gms. Moneyer: Unknown (blundered legends). Split in flan. A very pleasing piece with clear legends and nice lustrous surfaces. Excessively rare type with an unusual obverse design of three shields arranged in a trefoil pattern, touching at the tips. A very similar obverse die is known from a die chain featuring the typical Roskilde reverse with two mirrored gable figures, so the attribution to the Mint of Roskilde seems certain.
