Alle Auktionen / Teppiche & Textilien / Designer Carpet - Ziegler - Farahan - New - Rug - 188 cm - 123 cm
This stylish hand-knotted designer rug from Pakistan blends traditional oriental design with a modern, pleasantly restrained color palette. The design inspired by Ziegler and Farahan patterns features loosely arranged floral ornaments that stand out particularly beautifully against the bluish-gray background. The open inner field is adorned with numerous stylized blossoms, leaves and small ornamental motifs. Rust red, ochre, cream, turquoise and deeper green tones provide lively accents on the muted blue-gray. The modestly executed border gives the pattern a light and modern look. Details Art: Designer rug Design: Ziegler Farahan Dimensions: approx. 188 × 123 cm Origin: Pakistan Manufacturing: Hand-knotted Condition: New Style: Ziegler / Farahan / Oriental / Modern Primary color: Blue-gray Other colors: Rust red, ochre, cream, turquoise, green and beige Pattern: Floral and stylized oriental motifs Shape: Rectangular Special features Traditionally hand-knotted Ziegler-Farahan-inspired pattern drawing Elegant bluish-gray background Harmoniously distributed floral motifs without a dominant central medallion Warm ochre and rust tones as effective color accents Discreet border for a modern, open overall impression Versatile with classic and modern furniture Ideal for living room, bedroom, study, hallway or smaller seating areas Individual character through handcrafted production With 188 × 123 cm the rug has a versatile, usable format. It is particularly well-suited in front of a sofa, under a small coffee table, beside the bed, or as a decorative accent in an entryway or work area. The combination of traditional ornamentation and the unusual bluish-gray base makes this rug a stylish single piece that adds color and character to a room without appearing dominant. Note: With hand-knotted rugs, slight irregularities in shape, texture and design may occur. These are typical features of traditional handwork and emphasize the rug’s individual character.
