A suggestive and rich collection of antique and everyday objects from the past, ideal for recreating the warm and authentic atmosphere of traditional times, or to enrich a country-chic style environment. The lot includes a varied selection of utensils, decorative accessories and curiosities, characterized by a splendid patina of time. The collection is composed of the following elements: Mortar and pestles: A solid wood mortar with pestle, adorned with a painted decoration of flowers and cherries; a second older, rustic mortar in dark material with metal decorations (iron/press) with its pestle. Copper and Brass: A classic copper pudding mold with an embossed fruit motif; a typical oriental brass coffee pot/creamer (cezve) with dark handle; a brass fireplace ash-picking scoop with a long worked handle. Lighting: Two turned-wood candle holders with decorated base and a ring-handled piece; and a white-painted metal piece with a distinctive curved line. Objects and Accessories: A fluted glass bottle/oil cruet with handle and cork stopper; a set of ancient scales (3) of different sizes; an elegant brass letter opener worked into the shape of a historical figure/sword; a miniature brass mortar with pestle; a small hammered-brass plate; a small ashtray in the shape of a wooden brazier with brass insert; vintage small scissors, an antique top (without the string to spin it), and a terracotta room-scent diffuser. Technical Sheet: Estimated Era: Early 1900s. Materials: Wood, copper, brass, glass, iron/cast iron, painted metal. Conditions: Good vintage condition. The objects show the natural patina of time, oxidation marks (especially on the brass and copper) and normal signs of use that enhance their historical charm and authenticity. Each single piece will be individually protected with bubble wrap and shock-absorbing material to prevent rubbing or damage during transport. Shipping will be carried out in a rigid and reinforced box, via express courier with tracking code. Duties and Customs (for Extra-UE buyers): For shipments to countries outside the European Union, customs charges, import taxes, local VAT and handling fees are entirely the buyer’s responsibility. These costs are not included in the winning bid price or shipping charges and will be charged directly by the courier or by the customs authorities at the time of clearance.
