Display frame - Brass - period painting

Elegant oval-shaped decorative painting depicting a rich still life with a vase of flowers. The work is inspired by the great pictorial tradition of Flemish and European floral compositions of the 17th and 18th centuries. The true strength of this lot is the splendid and elaborate oval frame in Baroque/Rococo style. Made of brass/bronze, with a wooden back. It features a completely pierced design with foliate motifs and large scrolls, topped by a rich decorative entablature at the upper part. A furnishings piece with great visual impact, ready to hang. Conditions: Excellent overall condition of the painting, the glass and the frame. The wooden back is solid and clean, with the original hanging hook. Slight signs of time consistent with its age (See photos).
