Early 20th-century Doulton Lambeth faience vase designed by noted artist Margaret E. Thompson. This hand-painted ceramic vase features a vivid Art Nouveau aesthetic, characterized by graceful, flowing female figures clad in classical garments. The surrounding motif includes stylized trees, clouds, and blooming roses in a palette of soft greens, pinks, lavenders, and deep blues. The elongated female forms and floral embellishments are executed with fine line work and rich matte glazes, typical of the faience wares produced during the period. The base is inscribed with the Doulton Lambeth impressed circular mark and artist monogram, along with the incised decorator's initials "M.W." and model number "A.109." A hand-written label further identifies the artist as Margaret E. Thompson and dates the piece to 1900-1920. The dimensions are approximate. Artist: Margaret E.
