Wikipedia: The company is owned by Barceló Viajes (English: Barceló Trips) and was acquired by Barceló Group in 2013 after the collapse of Orizonia Corporation. Originally the company was founded under the name Evelop Airlines, before becoming a sister company to the Portuguese airline Orbest under Barceló’s leadership. On December 8, 2020, Evelop was merged with Orbest and the two airlines then operated under the name Iberojet.
