Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / E. García - Momento de paz XL (No reserve)
“Moment of Peace” is a 100 × 70 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. The work depicts a moment of rest in an interior opened to lush vegetation. On a yellow sofa, a figure lies recumbent while, in the foreground, a dog rests calmly on a color-filled rug. The presence of the animal and the relaxed attitude of the figure build an intimate, everyday scene marked by calm. The large open doors connect the interior with the tropical landscape and allow the greens of the vegetation and the intense blue of the sky to visually enter the room. The composition is organized through large chromatic surfaces: luminous yellows, reds, deep blues, and greens that confront and complement each other, creating a dynamic image despite the scene’s stillness. The free brushwork, simplified forms, and expressive use of intense colors show echoes of Fauvism, especially in the way color is used as a structural and emotional element. The yellow sofa acts as the great luminous nucleus of the composition, while the white figure of the dog provides balance and guides the gaze toward the foreground. “Moment of Peace” transforms a simple domestic scene into an image of well-being and disconnectedness, evoking those moments when home, nature, and the companionship of an animal create a small refuge from the outside. Authenticity and Shipping: The work is offered directly by E. García, guaranteeing its authenticity with a certificate signed by the artist himself. The painting will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube for shipping. After payment is confirmed, a period of three days is required to prepare the piece and ship it. Delivery time will depend on the destination, with a maximum period of up to ten business days.
