Ed Templeton (1972) - Wires Crossed Polaroids

Limited edition of 50, hand-signed Ed TEMPLETON’s cult-status photography series Wires Crossed is a captivating chronicle of the skate subculture, captured between 1995 and 2012. Now, it is reimagined as a limited collection of skate art editions in the artist’s first collaboration with THE SKATEROOM. Himself a legendary pro-skater, Ed documented the lives of his peers against the backdrop of American suburbia, extracting raw artistry from the everyday reality of skating. Showcased on this triptych, Donny and Elissa argue over dice, Huntington Beach, is a scene captured in Ed TEMPLETON’s hometown. It is a perfect depiction of the artist’s raw and genuine approach to photography, as well as his ability to flawlessly capture emotions within a single shot. Each edition is signed by Ed Templeton.
