Alle Auktionen / Etnografica / Elastic Bracelet with Natural Lapis Lazuli and Polished...
Handmade elastic bracelet made with 24 natural beads of 8.5 mm, consisting of 12 natural lapis lazuli beads and 12 polished bone beads, selected to create a clean and elegant chromatic contrast between the deep blue of the stone and the ivory white of the organic material. Lapis lazuli, historically among the most celebrated ornamental gems of antiquity, is valued for its characteristic ultramarine blue color often speckled with minute golden inclusions of pyrite. Used already in ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia and Renaissance arts, it remains one of the most iconic ornamental stones in history. The polished natural bone beads introduce a light, uniform material component that further enhances the chromatic depth of lapis lazuli, giving the bracelet an aesthetic with an ethnic and collector’s appeal. Mounted on a high-strength professional elastic thread, designed to offer comfort, fit, and durability over time. Technical details: Materials: Natural lapis lazuli, polished bone Total beads: 24 Composition: 12 + 12 Bead diameter: 8.5 mm Setting: Elastic thread Condition: New
