Of all the precious stones, of all the treasures of nature, one stone stands out in particular. The diamond has always been the king of all jewels, the epitome of precious jewellery. Its fire, its brilliance, but also its pure white colour make it the most coveted gemstone, the star of all jewellery: this ring from our workshop is designed to present a selected, large diamond in the best possible light. In our daily work with antique pieces of jewellery, we have seen numerous wonderful diamond rings. Many of them put their gemstones in a seductive light and appealed to us because of their design. However, for all customers who prefer a new, previously unworn ring, we have combined all these qualities in one piece: This ring is the essence - in our opinion - of elegant form and the best materials and perhaps the most beautiful way to wear a diamond. The design of the ring is inspired by the Art Deco shapes of the 1920s. It is based on an elegant geometry of squares and circles, which are intertwined and staggered to compose the ring and its face. With this design, we want to evoke the Berlin of the 1920s, when the city was a metropolis of film, theater and numerous revues and shone in the spotlight of the stages. The ring expands in its structure in several stepped stages. Smaller diamonds pave the way from the ring band until the large diamond shines in the center of the ring, held by four flat prongs. This platinum ring features a brilliant-cut diamond with a weight of 0.95 carats, very good clarity (vs2) and a pure white G colour. The diamond is accompanied by an appraisal from the diamond testing laboratory in Idar-Oberstein. In addition, we have also commissioned an appraisal from the Gemmologisches Labor Austria, GLA. Both certificates are included in the delivery. The side view of the ring reveals fine engravings that enliven the surfaces in gentle relief. Thanks to its design, the ring also allows plenty of light to reach the diamonds, allowing them to sparkle in the best possible way. At the same time, it has a flat design and even the large diamond remains close to the finger, making the ring comfortable to wear.
