Elegant Ring with a Natural Ruby & Diamonds in Rose Gold, From Our Workshop

This ring from our workshop features a natural ruby as its centerpiece. The oval cabochon-cut stone, weighing 1.57 ct, sparkles in an intense pinkish-red hue. The slightly opaque gemstone comes from East Africa—likely Kenya—and is framed by eleven brilliant-cut diamonds. Two smaller brilliant-cut diamonds transition to the rose gold ring band on the right and left. The ring’s design is inspired by classic Belle Époque “entourage” rings, which were intended to showcase particularly beautiful colored gemstones. This ring demonstrates just how good this is: the ruby seems to float on a bed of white light. The luster of the rose gold lends the ring a pleasant, summery warmth. The diamonds in the ring are vintage stones that we have deliberately reused here to make the piece of jewellery as sustainable as possible. Likewise, the gold used comes from older pieces of jewellery that could no longer be restored. The emerald was once part of a bracelet from the 1990s. In this way, the piece of jewellery combines historical references with extraordinary gemstones and a contemporary commitment to sustainability and the reuse of precious materials.
