Elegant taartplateau met bloemen

Elegant cake plate with flowers, bee and butterfly – ceramic in a metal frame A touch of romance for the laid table: this charming cake stand combines a refined floral decoration with a silver-colored metal frame. On the cream-colored background a branch with pink and deep red flowers winds, surrounded by green and ochre yellow leaves. A bee and a yellow butterfly make the scene particularly lively. The asymmetric composition lets the decoration come beautifully into its own. Fine twigs and subtle color nuances give the whole the look of a botanical illustration. The round shape, two curved handles, and small spherical feet ensure an elegant presentation. Cake stands with a ceramic top in a metal surround are also known from the early twentieth century. Similar examples also feature side handles and ball feet. This provides an interesting comparison for the model; the exact age and manufacturer of this stand have not been determined. A atmospheric piece for presenting pastries or as a decorative stand on a table, sideboard, or in a dinnerware cabinet. Fans of floral decor and classic tableware will especially appreciate the small details.
