Ella Suárez - Flor de la mariposa - XL (no reserve)

Butterfly flower from the series Floral System Unique work In Floral System, Ella Suárez approaches the flower as a complex, continually expanding structure. Far from a descriptive representation, the series proposes an approach where the floral form unfolds as a field of study: a system of relationships between center, periphery, rhythm, and growth. The works are built from a close gaze that amplifies scale and transforms perception. The petals, openings, and internal cores expand to occupy the plane, generating compositions where the flower ceases to be a recognizable object and becomes an organic architecture. The concept of the expanded flower runs through the series as a way of thinking about nature from its interior. The forms open, fold, and overlap, revealing dynamics of tension and balance that refer to processes of development, transformation, and deployment. Color acts as structure and energy. The palettes organize into transitions that build depth and vibrancy, shaping a space where each plane responds to an internal logic. The relationship between light, matter, and form creates an intense, almost tangible presence, placing the viewer in a close-up experience. In Floral System, the flower is understood as a system and as a process: a living form that is not represented but constructed and transformed in the painting.
