Expressive bronze bust signed E. Villanis. (beautiful deep signature) End of the 19th century / beginning of the 20th century The title of the bronze is CENDRILLON. Designed as attractive and mysterious, Cendrillon fascinated the artist, who materializes several works from these free women and provocatively created them. In this bust the artist chooses a depiction with a scarf tied over her wavy hair. The head and eyes are lowered, one recognizes her attitude and her proud bearing. Her delicate features and charm. The artist who created this statue was Emmanuel Villanis (1858-1914) – French sculptor. Very fine detailed work – the lady is of incredible beauty – this was perfectly realized by the artist.
