PHILIPPE CLÉMENT BELGIUM 2002 MATCH WORN BOOTS A pair that tells a true story from Belgian football history. Here we have the adidas Predator Mania 2002, one of the most iconic football boots ever produced by Adidas. Made by @adidasfootball and customized for Philippe Clément, with “Clément” displayed on the tongues and his first name embroidered on the boots. He had cut the elastic strap that held the tongue in place; these boots were made in Germany. Philippe Clément, a Belgian centre-back, represented the Red Devils and notably took part in the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France. He also enjoyed a long and successful club career, most notably with Club Brugge. Belgian champion with Club Brugge during the 2002–03 season, Clément was an important member of that generation of the club. This pair therefore comes from a significant period of his career and represents a time when football boots were truly personal pieces: an iconic model, unique customization and the name of a great Belgian player.
