Ernest Hemingway - The Old Man and the Sea - 1953

A very rare and fascinating vintage edition of Ernest Hemingway's masterpiece, The Old Man and the Sea, published in London in 1953 by The Reprint Society under license from Jonathan Cape. The volume is in overall good condition. The dust jacket retains bright colors with slight signs of wear due to age; the binding is solid and the interior is well preserved. This is the special "Club Edition" reserved for World Books members, particularly sought after by collectors for its characteristic vintage illustrated dust jacket and for the splendid black-and-white interior illustrations that accompany the text.
