Pair of Rocaille-style, 950 silver and crystal ewers, 19th century French craftsmanship circa 1850 Crystal blown and cut with fluted ribbed facets, mounted in a silver frame with vermeil interior. The neck of the ewers is finely worked with rocaille and floral motifs. The spout is sealed by a lid whose grip is ornamented with a relief rocaille motif. The handle is serpentine. The base repeats the rocaille and floral motifs. Height: 31 cm. Weight: 1411 g. French workmanship Silver hallmarks. Head of Minerva. From 1838. Perfectly functional
