The Belle Époque, the "beautiful era", fascinates with its promise of splendour and beauty to this day. So it is no wonder that jewellery is still being made today that follows the ideals of the turn of the century in its colour and shape. Jewellery for the evening in particular, which has always been more precious than that for the day, is thus given a timeless touch that makes it wearable for generations to come. The present piece of jewellery was created with these thoughts in mind. The necklace presents a magnificent pendant on a delicate anchor chain. This is held by four chains that fall decoratively. In the center of the pendant shines a wonderful opal cabochon in all colours of the rainbow. Like a kaleidoscope, the quality gemstone changes its appearance with every movement. Fine white gold bars set with white glittering diamonds unfold around it and with their filigree form appear like a tribute to the Belle Époque. The design of the necklace is based on turn-of-the-century jewels, but without copying them. At the same time, it is recognizable as a child of its time, because the piece is made entirely of white gold, which was not yet invented as a material at the time around 1900. And the diamonds used are also shaped in the modern full cut. The necklace, which found its way to us from Stuttgart, is beautifully preserved and a magnificent eye-catcher. We have had an independent certificate done on the piece of jewellery, which confirms the quality of the materials used.
