This strictly Uncirculated $20 Plain Back issued by the Farmers National Bank (Charter# 10954) during the 1920s offers much for the collector looking to represent this charter among their own holdings. Here signs of faint handling consistent with the grade may be observed along the fringes of the margins, but these signs are utterly trumped by superb eye appeal and color that speaks to the very day this note was printed. From the deep blues of the Treasury overprint to the detail expressed by the portrait of Treasury Secretary Hugh McCulloch at left and finally the signatures of Cashier E.S. Kovar and President C.G. Vetter, it takes little to reason that these traits collectively offer an impression that does well to underscore the fact that this note deserves a premium bid. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.
