Figurine - Vintage Creatieve Sōsaku Kokeshi Pop...

A brilliant and authentic vintage creative (Sōsaku) Kokeshi pop, titled "Kantsubaki" (Winter Camellia), masterfully crafted by the world-renowned and award-winning artisan studio Usaburo Kokeshi from Gunma Prefecture, Japan. This doll embodies the perfect balance between ancient Japanese tradition and modern design. It is hand-carved from a single solid piece of local wood (mostly cornelian cherry or chestnut) and meticulously painted with great attention to detail. The doll is instantly recognizable by Usaburo's distinctive deep brown bob cut and the elegant, sunken kimono. The front is beautifully adorned with a hand-engraved and hand-painted motif of blooming camellias (Tsubaki), the Japanese symbol of divinity, pure love and winter resilience. • Authentic Gold Label: On the back there is the original gold sticker referencing the crown at the All Japan Kokeshi Competition. The ultimate proof of provenance and quality. • Signature: Equipped with the official studio mark/stamp on the underside. The doll is in vintage condition with only minimal, natural signs of aging inherent to authentic wood, including some scratches on the bob cut (see photos for an accurate personal impression). No customs duties are provided for shipments within the European Union. The item will be carefully packaged and shipped. Please note that the packaging has been performed by a private individual and not by a professional service, so perfect packing quality cannot be guaranteed. Thank you for your understanding
