Fiji 1 Dollar 2012 - 'Treasures of Mother Nature' - Canada Platinum (20g .999 Silver) - Locket Coin with 15 Pure Platinum Beads - Mintage only 999 pcs - Serial No. 391 - Full Set Description: Offered for auction is one of the most exclusive, innovative, and highly sought-after coins in modern numismatics: the official 2012 1 Dollar Silver Coin from the Republic of Fiji. This piece belongs to the very first, most prestigious, and rarest edition of the legendary "Treasures of Mother Nature" series, featuring the "Canada - Platinum" theme with a majestic bear and mountain landscape. Please note that this is the ultra-rare, original 1 Dollar coin struck in 20 grams of pure .999 silver, not to be confused with the later, more common cupro-nickel editions. The Ultimate Moving Platinum Inset (Locket Coin Technology): The true masterpiece of this coin is its central, integrated transparent capsule. Inside are 15 authentic, loose beads made of pure platinum. While later editions in the series experimented with other metals like rhodium or gold, this first edition featuring pure platinum remains the ultimate king of the series due to its high material value and prestige. It is a stunning, interactive work of art where the precious platinum beads roll dynamically over the fine silver design. Unique Laser-Engraved Serial Number: This specific coin is individually numbered and features its unique serial number engraved on the edge (cant). As confirmed by the physical inscription, this coin carries the exclusive individual number 391 right next to its .999 silver purity stamp. Out of a strict maximum mintage of only 999 pieces worldwide, this makes it an incredibly traceable and unique collector's item. Extremely Limited Mintage: With only 999 pieces struck worldwide, this specific 1 Dollar silver coin is incredibly rare. It has been completely sold out at the mint for many years and rarely surfaces on the open market, making this a prime opportunity for high-end numismatic investors.
